Chainsaw Man is arguably one of the most celebrated manga lately. The popularity is such that it regularly stays among the best selling manga in the US.
And provided how good MAPPA has been lately with their animation quality, the sales might even surpass many other established manga. For example: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen.
Tatsuki Fujimoto started serializing Chainsaw Man from 2018 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and ended it after two years in 2020. Fujimoto is very well known for his short manga series that span not more than three years.
The story revolves around a teenager boy Denji, and his dog Pochita. His life takes a completely different turn after receiving powers from Pochita and eventually getting selected as a Devil Hunter.
While Denji hunted countless Devils, he had no idea that the whole world was going to turn against him…
