The Duke Of Death And His Maid Season 2 Releases New PV

The official website and Twitter handle of The Duke Of Death And His Maid has released a new PV to celebrate Season 2 of the anime.

The anime aired its first season in 2021 and earned critical praise for fantastic storytelling. So a second run of the anime was immediately announced after the 1st season ended.

The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2 will start airing in 2023.

Unfortunately we don’t have any exact month and date yet, but I’m sure we’ll know when the time is right.

This is the tweet from the official Twitter handle:

The above tweet translates:

We also get to look a new PV featuring Alice and the Duke. Most of the trailer showcases their daily to express their emotions.

The Duke not being able to touch anyone, especially Alice, makes the story painful but interesting. The manga just ended few weeks ago and I think this is the best time to release 2nd run of the anime.

Funimation holds the streaming rights of the anime and the 1st season was streamed on their platform. The manga on the other hand was published by Seven Seas Entertainment.

About The Duke of Death and His Maid

The publishing house describes the manga:

When the duke was a young boy, a witch made it so that any living thing he touched died. Unable to cope with such a cursed child, his family sent him away to live in an old mansion. Now a young man, his only companions are an elderly butler and his childhood friend, a buxom, blonde maid named Alice. Despite the fact that touching the duke means instant death, Alice is constantly teasing him, getting close and flirting mercilessly. But even though Alice loves to make the duke blush, her affection for him is the real deal. Can the two figure out a way to break the witch’s spell?
