Re: Zero Watch Order! How & What To Watch?
When it comes to twisted storyline Re: Zero probably competes for the top spot. It’s not your everyday Isekai where the person transferred into the new world simply picks up every information and becomes a “chad,” creating his harem.
If there was a competition where Isekai protagonist were ranked in terms of suffering, Subaru would perform pretty good. The word death is a pretty normal happening for him. And, that’s how he learns the harsh realities of life.
Though it’s not a series for the weak-heart, sticking to it through the episodes really do make things clear. But, what’s pretty interesting about this series? The protagonist, Subaru never becomes physically strong. At least he hasn’t become strong after all these years of literal Hell!
For Beginners, Re: Zero might through them into confusion as to from where to start. Yes, you can start from Season 1, but, what after that? Many anime don’t follow the usual process of Season 1, Season 2, etc. Some portion are covered in Season 1, and then we get a movie, then maybe an OVA.
So, the question remains, “How to Watch Re: Zero?” And this list will make things as clear & simple as possible.
Release Order
Anime
It’s simple, to this date, there are a total of Two Seasons, but what comes after that raises question.

In the list above, you’ll see that I’ve adjusted some releases and haven’t followed the year of release. It’s because, series like “Break Time,” aren’t important if you’re only interested in the main story. These are just gag episodes with chibi characters.
Yes, if you are in a shock after binge-watching the entire series in one go, then these cute chibi characters might work as a soothing balm on your pain.
Conclusion
Here you go, these is the complete list covering every releases till now. The list you’re seeing is the latest, and if we get any new series, this page will be updated soon!
Compared to other list of Watch Orders, Re: Zero is one of the easiest one. There are only two movies and two anime seasons. You might have a question, “Then why a list?”
Well, as I said before, there are some anime where some portions of the story is transferred in the movie, and if you choose to miss the movie, you lose track of an important part of the story.
Hence, to clarify that this isn’t the case with Re:Zero, this chronological watch order will help a lot.
