Would you disbelieve me If said that Zoro is sometimes more loved than Luffy? Well, it doesn’t matter whether you believe me or not because several popularity polls have proven than sometimes Zoro is, in fact, more loved and supported than Luffy. Maybe it’s because of his “chad” attitude…
Now think what would happen if this “chad” of a man dies in the series. How would fans respond? Will One Piece creator (Oda) ever take such decision?
Hence, in this post I’ll try to speculate why Zoro won’t die just yet! Also why it’s almost impossible for Oda to kill him…
Will Zoro Die?
Among all the crew in Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro and Luffy are the two guys who have faced the most “death-like situation.” Every now and these two guys (especially Zoro) gets beat-up by an overpowering enemy and break every single bone.
But a “death-like situation” is completely different than “real death.” So, the question is: Will Zoro Die?
In simple words: No, Zoro won’t die.
There are more than enough reason for this, but two are the most basic ones:
This Is Why Zoro Won’t Die Just Yet!
The very first reason is his promise to Kuina. He promised her to carry her dream and become the world’s greatest swordsman. This single wish of him has kept him on the edge every time. And this single ambition has kept him alive despite receiving grave injuries several times.
The second (mostly unknown) is his subtle dream to explore the world. Unsurprisingly this is also indirectly related to his dream…
In fact I would say that Zoro has become so strong as a character in the series that Oda would have to think countless times before killing him.
Also, I don’t think there’s any reason to get rid of him whatsoever!

So, in conclusion Zoro will stay alive till the end of One Piece. He is too important to die.
