Will Denji End-Up With Makima?
CSM community is riddled with Denji x Makima ships, but the truth is completely different!
No, Denji will not end-up with Makima.
Yeah, this is the harsh reality that we CSM fans didn’t want to hear about! But, unfortunately things are way more complicated between Denji and Makima than you think…
Makima never actually had any feelings for Denji. She just wanted to use him. The correct word would be Makima wanted to “control ” Denji. Though she was immensely successful at everything she planned, something unexpected happened at the end of the series (extreme spoiler, won’t share).
My opinion would be that Makima was too far ahead and superior to Denji and their ship wouldn’t look that good anyway. Also there was a major gap between the two in terms of personality!
Denji x Reze
Reze appeared only for few chapters in CSM but gathered massive love from fans. A major portion of fans who ardently shipped Denji x Makima and Denji x Power shifted to Denji x Reze.
Honestly there were more than enough reasons for this! The first is that unlike Makima Reze was almost the same age as Denji. She also had a friendly vibe that was way better than Makima.
On top of that she wholeheartedly trusted Denji with everything she had. Unfortunately both Denji and we fans took Reze too seriously because what happened after that is history…
So, Reze too does not end-up with Denji.
But she had the highest chance if everything went smooth.
Why Denji Does Not End-Up With Power?
Now that we have reached the end of this discussion, let me explain you why Denji won’t end-up with Power either:
Among all the female characters in CSM, Power was the closest to Denji. In fact they were way more than what we can say about couples. Though Denji didn’t trust Power fully, he did everything for her and seldom got angry. Yeah, he got irritated, but not angry.
Power on the other hand trusted no one but Denji. To the point that they even bathed together naked after a severe event (SPOILER! ).
Then if everything’s alright with them why didn’t they end-up together?
It’s because Makima Killed Power!
Makima killed Power to “awaken” Denji’s real strength. She knew that Power’s death would push him to his limits. But, luck was on Denji’s side because she came back (for a brief moment) to save Denji…
Now that Chainsaw Man Part 2 has started serialization, we fans are eagerly waiting to meet the new Power…
Conclusion & FAQ
So, this is what I have to offer…Denji, this poor guy, don’t end-up with anyone! She did have liking for various women but all of them either cheated him or died before he could take a serious step.
