How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Season 2 is one of the most anticipated anime and the rising popularity is due to obvious reasons. Now that we are half-way to Second season, it seems things are getting more heated up than normal.

The first 2 episodes were average without too much violence. It was in episode 3 that things suddenly changed. Episode 4 also involved some cases of clashes with Laminitus.

Let’s see what happens in Episode 5.

Episode 4 Recap

After the battle with Batutta, Diablo is weakened. Now, if Laminitus attacks him he would surely lose. But, it’s Diablo, and since he calls himself the Demon Lord, he cannot turn his back and run away.

He always surely has ways to avoid trouble, and this time too, he run away with all the girls from Laminitus’ attack. If that wasn’t enough, they have landed near a dungeon that was created by Diablo himself when he used to play the game.

As they go inside, Diablo clears all the hurdles one-by-one. But, this frictionless journey comes to an end when the Paladin appears who wants Lumachina dead. He tries to execute her, but Horn dashes and they both plunge into the torrential water.

Looking into this situation, Diablo also makes a jump. That’s when the episode ends.

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord releases every Thursday. Episode 5 will release on May 6.
Name of the next episode is “Black Dragon Clash,” suggesting that a War will break out. In the preview video we also see a new character who will probably join Diablo’s team.
