19 Sexiest And Strongest Bankai In Bleach.
Bankai is the hallmark of an accomplished Soul Hunter. It’s said that a Shinigami who cannot unleash one has a lot to learn before they can call themselves an expert Shinigami.
Hence, today I’ll talk about the Best and the Sexiest Bankai in Bleach.
Let’s GOOO…
Strongest Bankai List
Below are the STRONGEST Bankai in Bleach:
(1) Zanka no Tachi: Yamamoto
Yamato hands-down has to most powerful Bankai in Bleach. That was probably expected from the old man whose age exceeded 1000 years.
The sheer intensity of his Bankai robbed the Soul Society of water. Everyone in the Soul Society felt thirsty and piercing heat. Well, that’s what 1000 years of constant training does.
(2) Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame: Urahara
Urahara finally unleashed his Bankai while fighting one of the most powerful Quincy(spoiler, so won’t name him).
In short his Bankai can do miracles at healing anyone and anything. Urahara was instantly able to heal his eyes and face after unleashing the technique. In fact he didn’t take much to beat his opponent after that.
(3) Katen Kyōkotsu Karamatsu Shinjū: Kyoraku
Unlike other characters who use mostly use brute-force to breaking into their opponent’s weakness, Kyoraku’s Bankai is like an art. In short, his technique throws his opponent into an illusion of various levels of emotions.
His Bankai is insanely powerful as he made sure that none of his ally were present there before unleashing the technique in its full-form…
(4) Kōkō Gonryō Rikyū: Sasakibe
Sasakibe was one of the most humble yet strict Soul Hunter in Soul Society. He never did anything that would irk Yamamoto. But, the surprising thing is that he never talked about having any Bankai.
And there was a reason behind it. His Bankai was powerful enough to give Yamamoto his second scar. You can say that his technique had ability to directly control weather systems. In the manga electric shock is used to showcase his powers.
(5) Hakka no Togame: Rukia Kuchiki
Rukia finally mastered her abilities and techniques and unlocked her Bankai at the very last moment. Hakka no Togame is the most risky one. One mistake and it could shatter her into pieces.
What her Bankai does is the engulf her opponent into absolute zero temperatures (-273 degree celsius). That’s the minimum temperature we can reach. In that temperature anything can turn into ice and becomes brittle.
(6) Senbonzakura Kageyoshi: Byakuya
Byakuya is the most badass character in Bleach. And his Bankai is badder! His Bankai simply spreads his swords into millions of Sakura leaves and each of those leaves are as lethal as a Sword.
What’s more irritating is that there’s almost no way to run from it because it simply doesn’t let anyone just run away and save themselves.
(7) Unnamed Bankai: Zaraki Kenpachi
Zaraki’s Bankai was the most unexpected events in entire Bleach series. Most of us fans thought that he might never get to have any Bankai, but when he received it shivers ran throughout my body!
Zaraki’s Bankai is simpler than most of the ones I’ve mentioned above. When unleashed he becomes WAY more powerful than he was. And it also changed his body into red color. I can’t wait for that scene to be animated!
(8) Tensa Zangetsu: Ichigo
Ichigo finally mastered his Bankai at the end of the series. You can see in the image below that he has obtained a form that look half like him and half like a Hollow.
He also unleashed his real Zanpakuto. What’s the difference against his previous Bankai? He is more controlled and more strong. He was able to counter Yhwach in this form.
(9) Ashisogi Jizō: Mayuri
Mayuri fights with just two things – His brain and his chemicals! And Ashisogi Jizō is the result of all his experience packed into this yellow looking caterpillar. Though it looks extremely creepy, the power it possess is immense.
Later in the manga we also get to see an upgraded version of Ashisogi Jizō that was WAY more powerful than the one you see above.
(10) Kokujō Tengen Myō’ō Dangai Jōe: Komamura
Kokujō Tengen Myō’ō Dangai Jōe is the signature Bankai Komamura unleashed when he was cornered to his limits. The devil-like creature looks hellish, and also possess hell-like power.
Komamura’s opponent died in an instant when they got hit by this form repeatedly. And his opponent was insanely powerful.
(11) Sōō Zabimaru: Renji
Renji has always unleashed Zabimaru whenever he has tried to face any powerful opponent. If you can recall, he also unleashed Zabimaru while fighting Byakuya.
But he later discovered that the Zabimaru he was unleashing was only a fraction of the real power it contained. And after going through some training he finally did it. And the result was astonishing. Even Renji was surprised for the first time when he learnt that Zabimaru can be this powerful.
(12) Kamishini no Yari: Gin
Ichimaru Gin’s Bankai is rather simple yet tricky and almost impossible to deflect. After unleashing it he just extends his sword to a great distance within seconds cutting anything that it touches.
He cut countless thick buildings when he unleashed his Bankai. What’s more interesting is that his sword won’t just extend to a great distance but also has insane penetration power.
(13) Ryūmon Hōzukimaru: Ikkaku
Ikkaku doesn’t want anybody to know that he can unleash Bankai. But, his secret technique is no doubt one of the most badass looking. With all those BIG swords and axe, it gives his opponent a warning to not come closer to him!
I think he has only unleashed his Bankai two times in the entire series and has never lost once.
(14) Minazuki: Unohana
Unohana is a healer and as you can already expect, her Bankai heals anyone who comes in contact to it. We got to see how powerful her technique was when she saved a dozen of people at a time.
Unfortunately, due to its nature, she cannot use her Bankai to attack her opponents, so even though the technique has powerful defense, it almost has no offensive capabilities.
(15) Daiguren Hyōrinmaru Toshiro: Hitsugaya
Forgive me If I say this but Daiguren Hyōrinmaru Toshiro is way more weaker than most Bankai I mentioned above. I never seldom seen Hitsugaya fight and win against his opponent without getting hurt too much.
Fortunately he got an upgrade at the end Bleach and his powers took a ferocious form…
(16) Suzumushi Tsuishiki: Enma Kōrogi: Tosen
Tosen unleashed Suzumushi Tsuishiki: Enma Kōrogi while fighting Zaraki Kenpachi. His Bankai is powerful because it’s almost similar to “Domain Expansion” in Jujutsu Kaisen. Tosen has total control under that area.
If it wasn’t Zaraki then I’m sure anyone inside that domain would get severely hurt from his attacks. But if Kenpachi can overwhelm his attacks then anyone with insanely fast reaction speed can also overwhelm him…
(17) Jakuhō Raikōben: Sui Feng
Sui Feng doesn’t want to unleash her Bankai: Jakuhō Raikōben, just because how powerful that thing is! You can say that the impact prowess is powerful enough to compare it to a nuclear explosion!
Sui Feng unleashed Jakuhō Raikōben when she didn’t have any choice! The impact was so powerful that she with her subordinates flew away by the explosive air… Her Bankai is also a secret as she doesn’t want to show it to anyone!
(18) Tekken Tachikaze: Kensei Muguruma
Tekken Tachikaze is probably the most straightforward Bankai. Kensei’s physical strength increases rapidly when he unleashes his technique. We saw this when he used Tekken Tachikaze against an enemy.
Even though the enemy was insanely strong physically, after getting hit from Tekken Tachikaze he flew away to great distance.
(19) Kinshara Butōdan: Otoribashi
Kinshara Butōdan is a technique that uses sound to confuse its opponent. I can’t just do ahead as say that it’s a weak technique. It’s Bankai in the end. But when we compare it to Bankai mentioned above, it’s way less powerful and full of loopholes.
You probably know already that when a technique uses sound as a means to attack its opponent covering ears is the best way to counter it. And that’s exactly what happened in Bleach too!
