Naruto is one of the most successful and longest running manga series. And entire generation had grown up watching this series grow up with them…You know what happens when a manga series runs for so long? We get to love characters like they were real people!

And that’s what I’m going to cover today! In this list I’ll mention the Top 10 Most Loved Naruto Characters Ever.

(10) Lee

Lee is one character we cannot just hate. He is the classical example of what insane hard work can achieve! Having no ability to unleash jutsu Lee was born as a handicap in the ninja world. Yet, he worked extremely hard to become one of the strongest character in Naruto Universe.

Unfortunately he also receives hate sometimes for his assertive personality, but other than that he really is the one to look up for when you need motivation.

Whatever Lee is today is just because of Guy. Guy too is an unique case of having no jutsu like Kakshi and other ninjas. Though he has hardly ever made into the popularity poll, his contribution in the last war is immense.

Respect & love for him rose even more after he almost sacrificed himself by unleashing Night Guy…

Gaara received too much hatred just because of he rude behavior towards his opponents. But, situation changed quickly when we learned about his past. What he just lacked was love, and after he began receiving it, Gaara became one of the most loved Naruto characters…

And now, in Boruto, Gaara is shown as the “quiet uncle” who doesn’t talk much but is humble with his words.

There’s no reason to hate Shikamaru. He is just the laid back genius of Konoha. Rather than muscles Shikamaru goes through great lengths to tackle and beat his opponents.

Even as a grown-up adult Shikamaru is the same as he was when young. One thing that Shikamaru doesn’t always show is his soft yet strict nature towards people.

Not gonna lie, but there’s a large Naruto fangroup that hates Sasuke to no end. Unfortunately even I was one of them back when I started watching Naruto. Fortunately I’m not the same as before! Sasuke changed a lot after Itachi died…

Many fans also consider Sasuke more important character than Naruto in Boruto manga…He is sort of the hidden guardian angel of the village, passing important secret information…And the best part? He is Boruto’s sensei!

(5) Iruka

If there’s one Ninja who deserves the “best dad” award, it’s Iruka. When the whole village hated Naruto for what he was, only Iruka loved and cared for him. Though after Kakashi’s introduction in the manga Iruka’s role decreased quite a lot, he still ranked pretty well in popularity polls.

Iruka still considers Naruto the same little kid many years ago…

(4) Jiraya

How can I not include the famous “ero-senin?” Iruka cared for Naruto and Kakashi made him strong, but it was Jiraya who actually made Naruto the Man he is today. Jiraya almost died while training Naruto, yet he continued…

I won’t be exaggerating if I said that Jiraya’s death made the entire Naruto fandom cry bucket of tears. Especially the way he died made it even more painful!

Itachi was feared not just among Konoha people but also among Naruto fans…His presence was too powerful to ignore. Even though he was part of Akatsuke, Itachi was only loved more with every chapter/episode…

General manga/anime fans still consider Itachi as one of the best manga characters ever created…The contribution he made to save Konoha and the entire Ninja world is immeasurable! Just imagine what would happen if he didn’t stop Kabuto?

Now comes the main protagonist of the manga series…Our boy Naruto is the most loved character in not just Naruto series but also in Boruto… In fact readers transferring from Naruto to Boruto sometimes claim that Boruto is just “(Bor)ing(Naruto)…

Anyways, coming back the topic, Naruto is especially loved because of his adamant and optimistic personality. Whatever happens nothing could ever force him to admit that he would not become the next Hokage!

(1) Kakashi

Kakashi is not just loved by all the women but also guys simp over him! He is the mysterious genius ninja who can turn the tide of any situation to his favor. Kakashi having a Sharingan also makes him almost invincible against his enemies…

After he was introduced in the manga, he ranked either at the top or after Naruto in almost every popularity poll! Dude also became the next Hokage! I mean, is there anything that can beat this guy (other than Pain)?
