Jujutsu Kaisen To End Within Two Years?
Lately Jujutsu Kaisen in making headlines in pretty much every Anime and Manga website. The reason behind this is pretty much already known. The exciting storyline, powerful characters, and ground-breaking animation quality has pushed the series’ popularity even more higher.
In a recent interview during the Mangado Kobayashi Manga Taisho 2020 Grand Prix, Mangaka of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami revealed that he is planning to end the series within two years. Though, he also added that this may not be true in the end.
After declaring the possible end of the series, Gege Akutami was also asked how far the manga is in comparison to the major checkpoints of Mt. Fuji? And he answered the manga was “Around the Sixth or Seventh Station”. To explain this, the numbered stations are the major checkpoints along the various trails that lead up to Mt. Fuji’s top. Ninth being the final checkpoint before reaching the summit.
If we take Akutami’s words seriously, then we are only two-three station before we reach the top, hence, clearly understanding that the series has already covered probably 65-80%.
The Mangaka also revealed that he has already planned how Megumi’s story will end, but as of Sukuna, there is no concrete plan yet.
If we take into account the date Jujutsu Kaisen ends, then 2023 would be a feasible year. Making the series five-years in run.
Jujutsu Kaisen is among the many Manga whose sales circulation reached new height after its Anime release. And the very basic reason behind this is the Animation Quality from MAPPA.
