The 10+ Most Insane Moments In One Piece
One Piece has come a long way! In these more than 2 decades of it serialization the series has given us fans a glimpse of almost every situation. Be it excitement, extreme tragedy, fun. You name it. One Piece excels in every one of them!
Of course the story also has moments we can never forget despite how many years ago it happened. Hence, in this post I’ll list down 12 of the best and most insane moments in One Piece.
CRITICAL MANGA SPOILERS!!
(12) Roger Declares One Piece Is Real
This incident began everything. Moments before his execution Roger publicly declared that the One Piece was real. Kickstarting what you can call “One Piece Rush.”
When we talk about one of the most crucial moment in the manga we just cannot miss this one.
(11) Luffy Uses Conqueror’s Haki
The Marineford Arc is unarguably one of the most crucial arc in One Piece. This arc basically changed One Piece as a series and also killed off two mighty characters. What I cannot miss is the fact that Luffy used Conqueror’s Haki without even knowing it.
His blast of Conqueror’s Haki surprised everyone. Even Whitebeard had to shift his focus towards him. So you can safely say that Luffy using Conqueror’s Haki is also one of the most important moments in One Piece.
(10) Rayleigh Saves Zoro
I really was painful to watch the Straw Hat Pirates getting annihilated by Bartholomew Kuma. But before that incident something happened that is even more exciting and heart-touching moment! It’s Rayleigh saving Zoro from Kizaru.
Why is this moment insane and unforgettable? Because Kizaru is the fastest character (with Devil Fruit) in One Piece and Rayleigh (without Devil Fruit) simply blocked it with one leg. Guess Sanji should learn something from Rayleigh.
(9) Whitebeard’s Last Battle
Whitebeard and Roger were two legendary Pirates of their times and also after their generation passed. Looking Whitebeard fight is like looking at the past! As I already mentioned, the Marineford Arc is still one of the most crucial arc in entire series. Hell lot of things happened in that arc…
Whitebeard using his overwhelming strength was one thing that no OP fan can forget. Creating seaquake with just two hands is a ridiculous amount of power! The man is gone but he won’t be ever forgotten!
(8) Zoro Takes Luffy’s Pain
Zoro is the hidden treasure of Straw Hats. He is strong enough to take a direct hit from Mihawk’s blade and yet live. He is also powerful enough to cut large buildings and ships. Attacking is one thing, but what about receiving pain? Most people lose in that aspect! But not Zoro.
There’s a reason why many fans complain that One Piece was more intense before the time-skip. It was because of scenes like these. Zoro, being the vice-captain of the Straw Hats took Luffy’s pain on top of withstanding his own. For any One Piece fan this scene does bring tears to eyes…
(7) Oden Sacrifices Himself
Oden was one hellova man! He acted like an outlaw in his own country but was also loved and respected by a large group of people. In fact that’s how the Red Scabbards formed. What separates a great King from just a King is the depth of sacrifice he can make. Oden was way above in that aspect!
Getting boiled alive is one of the worst kind of death. Oden not only sacrificed himself for the country’s future, but also took the Red Scabbards’ pain and suffering. Well, there’s reason why he is called “Chaden.” Dude was an absolute Chad.
(6) Luffy Punches A Celestial Dragon
The so-called Celestial Dragon are the most hated characters in One Piece. The whole country has to suffer because of their nonsense whim. What happens when one of them gets wrecked by Luffy? Utter Joy!
Anyways, Luffy had to pay a high price after this incident! Entire Straw Hat crew was wiped out. Of course everything came back to normal after few years, but I personally won’t ever forget the satisfaction of seeing a Celestial Dragon getting punch. And I’ve a strong feeling these “punching” will happen even more now that we have entered final arc.
(5) Minks Reveal That Raizo Is Safe
The Minks showcased an extraordinary levels of dedication to keep their friend safe! Even to the point of sacrificing their hands and legs. The Minks revealing that Raizo is safe is too overwhelming.
Oda is such a genius! He knows which string to pull to satisfy his audience!
(4) Roger Vs Whitebeard
Roger and Whitebeard were the two mammoth of One Piece universe. These two at their peak were powerful enough to level a country and beat every single Pirate in existence. Guess what would happen if these two powerhouse clashed?
Even Oden, the strongest Samurai ever couldn’t withstand the impact when Roger and Whitebeard clashed. Unsurprisingly enough, not even their their swords were touching! The clash between them was only for few seconds but us One Piece fans will never forget it!
(3) Ace Dies
If I’m not wrong, this is the third time I’m mentioning Marineford Arc. I feel the image below is more than enough to explain why this moment is hard to explain with words! Ace never had any plan to die, but he simply sacrificed his life to save Luffy.
At first I decided to keep this moment in the first place, but the top two in this list are on a completely different league!
(2) Luffy Awakens His Devil Fruit & Becomes The Next Joy Boy
There always has been confusion and questions about Luffy’s Devil Fruit. Now, after more than 1000 chapters, the secret has finally being revealed! Luffy’s Devil Fruit is the most unique Devil Fruit, and even the World Government want to hide it’s true powers…
In the battle against Kaido, Luffy has finally unleashed Gear 5th and awakened the Devil Fruit. Though I don’t want to spoil you more, you can be rest assured that the jump from Gear 4th to Gear 5th is huge.
(1) Shanks Stops The War
I think there is not a single One Piece fan who wasn’t surprised and excited to see Shanks enter Marineford. This incident has happened more than 10 years ago and it’s still the best moment in One Piece.
Nothing can beat the Red Hair Pirates and their powerful authority over the Pirates. Heck even Blackbeard had to back off to avoid a clash against Shanks.
