Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Breaks Record.

After its release on October 16 in Japan, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was already going to be a great hit within Anime lovers, but the unprecedented level of popularity that the movie is receiving cannot be unnoticed.

According to TOHO and Aniplex, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train has sold 7,983,442 tickets. And the amount earned is $102.52 million within 10 days of its release.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train has also broken the previous record of Spirited Away that earned $10 million in 25 days.

Though Spirited Away still holds the most earned movie record, it won’t be shocking to see if Demon Slayer: Mugen Train breaks even this record.



When Demon Slayer anime released in 2019, it quickly garnered followers. Well, the manga was already famous but the anime accelerated it even further.

What viewers liked the most is its Animation style and story narration. Many viewers say that this is Ufotable’s best art yet.
